With some of them, you attack, with some you defend, and there are all sorts of other abilities they have, such as healing yourself or improving your stats. You go in turns, so always try to think of the best new strategy to use. Your goal is to deplete the life points of your opponent to zero, and he will try the same to you, so be careful.
