In both, your goal is to shoot candy at the candy on top, in order to form groups of three or more identical colored candy, in order to remove them, and get points in return. You can't let the candy stack down to the bottom or you lose the game. The difference between the classic and arcade mode is that in the arcade one the candy moves slowly down all the time.
