To move your character you use the WASD keys, and to interact with holes to go down or up, press the E key. You are going to face off against things like skulls for example, who are out to kill you, so use the mouse to aim and shoot your gun and take them all out, because if they touch you, you lose and have to start all over again, which no one wants to happen.
