Mario will be running himself, and you use the up arrow key to jump, and the down one to slide. For a high jump, press the up arrow twice. You do so in order to avoid all of the enemies and obstacles in your path, because bumping into them too many times costs you the game, but at the same time, you have to do your best to collect as many coins on the road as possible, to get a big score.
